Hi. I’m Tresta.

Welcome to my blog. I think my thoughts here and they are generally full of wonder at God’s goodness, truth, and beauty. I hope you find something to think about.

Amazing

Grace always points up It's no license for sins premeditated or desires too strong to ignore.

It's not a catch-all get out of jail free card to save for a later date, a time when you might really need it. You need it now.

Neither is it cheap or easy or only for the taking.

Grace needs given as much as it needs received. Because all of us on this sphere have the same fear and no one wants grace to run out for them, ever. No one wants the standard we hold against brothers to be the standard for us.

We hold them by the throat with the same sin that besets us.

So it has to be grace. Received first, because he who has been forgiven much always loves much. Grace given out, because "such as is common to man" means we all are guilty.

That grace would erase all the records against us - our only hope and the gift of His cross.

That grace would mend brokenness and disunity and never ever make excuse for sin, but just compel compassion, because He is compassion.

When they walk on your freshly mopped floor or stomp on your freshly wounded soul - grace.

Scandalous grace. Shocking and in your face grace.
